Job summary

Coalesce Recruitment Limited seeks a Service Controller for a nationwide provider near Leighton Buzzard. You will schedule maintenance visits, liaise with customers for follow‑ups, and coordinate with engineers to ensure accurate job sheets and timely reporting.

Excellent communication and IT skills are required, with experience in service administration and cost control. 40 hours weekly, Mon‑Fri, with benefits including pension and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Track record in service administration or service coordination.

• Commercially astute with a history of working in service administration within an engineering or technical setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with people at all levels.

Service Controller – Nationwide Service Provider – Leighton Buzzard

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + 20 days holiday + bank holidays + pension + life assurance.

A nationwide service provider to the vehicle fleet industry with an enviable reputation spanning 50 years is now looking for a Service Controller to join their Head Office Depot on the outskirts of Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Take pre‑planned maintenance bookings from customers and plan and schedule these.
• Speak to customers to arrange follow‑up visits and book them in.
• Interact with Service Engineers and process Engineer job sheets / work reports.
• Change the job status on internal systems and ensure all inputted data is always correct.
• Take ownership in service improvement initiatives and cost control.

Qualifications and Experience

• Track record in service administration, service coordination or a similar capacity.
• Experience in scheduling and planning maintenance work or service visits for engineers.
• Commercially astute with a history of working as a Service Controller, Service Coordinator, or in service administration within an engineering or technical setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with people at all levels.
• IT proficiency, including Office365 (Word and Excel).

Working Hours

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm with a 1hour lunch break.
