Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Bolton is recruiting a Service Advisor to deliver a fantastic experience for our service and vehicle repair customers at the Bolton Motorstore.

You will be a warm, articulate communicator with strong IT skills, capable of coordinating with the workshop, handling service requests, and upselling where appropriate.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday 8am–5:30pm with occasional Saturdays, and we offer generous benefits and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is essential.
• Ability to liaise with workshop and explain repairs clearly to customers.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle all customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs professionally.
• Coordinate with workshop and bodyshop to progress work through the system.
• Manage computer-based jobs, purchasing and invoicing processes, protecting customer and company interests.
• Notify customers of faults or repairs and provide clear solutions.
• Address dissatisfied customers with empathy and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate customer vehicle details and service histories.
• Keep knowledge of aftersales products and services up to date and upsell where appropriate.
