Arnold Clark is recruiting a Service Advisor for our Fiat/BYD branch in Edinburgh. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting service and repair operations.

We’re seeking an articulate, friendly communicator who can manage enquiries, coordinate with the workshop, and ensure accurate vehicle records and invoicing. Full-time hours with varied benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high-quality customer service.
• Strong computer literacy and IT system familiarity.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Good organisation to schedule work with workshop capacity.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs promptly.
• Liaise with workshop and bodyshop to progress work through the system.
• Manage computer-based jobs, purchases and invoicing to protect customer and company interests.
• Inform customers of faults/repairs with clear solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer vehicle records and service histories.
• Upsell where appropriate and stay knowledgeable on aftersales options.
• Keep the customer database up to date at all times.
