Job summary

Arnold Clark Group is seeking a Service Advisor at our Blackpool Vauxhall branch to deliver a fantastic customer experience for service and vehicle repair customers. You will be an articulate, warm communicator who can provide star treatment in busy days, from Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota.

This customer-facing role suits someone who has prior customer service experience and enjoys exceeding expectations and delivering positive outcomes for customers and the team.

Qualifications

• This role requires a strong focus on delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Good IT literacy and ability to handle workshop processes and invoicing.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy service environment while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Handling customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs efficiently.
• Coordinating with workshop and bodyshop to progress work through the system.
• Managing invoicing, purchases and ensuring customer and company interests are protected.
• Informing customers about faults and providing clear, accurate solutions.
• Respecting dissatisfied customers with empathy and effective issue resolution.
• Maintaining accurate customer vehicle details and service histories.
• Upselling where appropriate and keeping up-to-date on aftersales products.
• Keeping the customer database accurate at all times.
