Job summary

Hawk Hiring is recruiting for a Service Advisor in Brighton to support a leading prestige brand. You will be the frontline liaison with customers while their vehicles are serviced, ensuring a seamless experience and accurate record-keeping.

The role offers a funded training program through the VAG Group, a competitive commission scheme, and clear progression paths within a supportive, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication with a customer-first mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to self-prioritize workload.
• A valid UK Driving Licence is required.
• Previous motor industry or retail customer service experience is preferred, but full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers regarding repairs, outstanding work, and Service Plan follow-ups.
• Log appointments, reservations, and MOTs into the central database and build customer records.
• Maintain clear communication with customers while their vehicle is in the workshop and handle payments smoothly.
• Complete accurate job cards, book and allocate courtesy cars, and resolve complaints quickly.
• Collaborate with Sales to promote new/used vehicle sales and support business goals.

What is in it for you:

• Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum (OTE up to £36,000)
• Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm, Saturday 8:00am – 1:00pm (1 in 4 rotation)

What you will be doing:

• Liaise directly with customers regarding ongoing repairs, outstanding work, and Service Plan follow-ups.
• Log all appointments, reservations, and MOTs accurately into the central database while building customer records.
• Maintain clear, continuous communication with customers while their vehicle is in the workshop, ensuring excellent service and handling payments smoothly.
• Complete accurate job cards, control the booking and allocation of courtesy cars, and resolve any complaints quickly and effectively.
• Collaborate with the Sales Department to promote new/used vehicle sales and support overall business goals.

Requirements & Ideal Profile:

• Strong oral and written communication skills with a confident, customer-first mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to self-prioritize workload and meet timeframes.
• A valid UK Driving License is required.
• Previous experience in the motor industry or retail customer service is preferred, but not essential—full training is provided!

Commutable Locations:

This role is based in Brighton, making it an easy commute from Hove, Worthing, Lewes, and Shoreham-by-Sea.
