Service Advisor - Shrewsbury

Avid Personnel are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their client's team operating out of their Shrewsbury based facility.

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment? Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their award-winning aftersales team.

About the role

As a Service Advisor, you'll be the key link between customers and the workshop team. You'll greet customers, manage their service and repair needs, and ensure they receive a seamless experience from start to finish.

Key responsibilities
  • Welcoming customers and booking in service and repair appointments
  • Providing clear and accurate service advice and estimates
  • Liaising with the workshop and keeping customers updated throughout the day
  • Upselling additional products and services where appropriate
  • Managing invoicing and handover of vehicles on collection
  • Signposting customer surveys to secure great feedback
About you
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the motor trade is essential
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using dealer management systems (Pinnacle, 1Link, Motability) (Training provided)
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a friendly, professional team
  • Passionate about delivering a first-class customer experience

  • 22 days annual leave increasing to 25 days with length of service

Salary: £28,750 basic with a realistic OTE of 34K with uncapped commission.
