Job summary

Lloyd BMW Colne, part of the Lloyd Motor Group, is seeking a Service Advisor to join their Aftersales team in Colne. You will handle customer interactions, advise on technical queries, book vehicles in for work, and ensure accurate invoicing and progress updates.

The ideal candidate will have superb customer service, IT literacy (Kerridge knowledge is a plus), and a full UK driving licence, in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and professional communication.
• Ability to explain repairs and advise on technical queries.
• Experience booking vehicles and updating customers on progress.
• IT literacy with dealership software proficiency preferred.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Service Advisor to join the Aftersales team at our Lloyd BMWretailerbased in Colne.

Salary: £34-38K OTE

Hours: 45hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 18:00 working a Saturday rota

Role responsibilities:

• Dealing with all customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive first impression of the Service Department.
• Advising on technical queries/issues.
• Booking vehicles into the department for work to be carried out, informing customers of the progress of their vehicle.
• Sell customer repairs/parts etc., and finalising the invoice on completion.

An ideal Service Advisor will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Motivated, with a proactive approach to customer service.
• Enjoy the challenge of influencing the success of the Service department.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be well presented.
• Must be IT literate, and a working knowledge of Kerridge would be advantageous.
• Must hold a full UK driving license.
