Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Service Advisor for a leading UK automotive retailer. You will be the main contact for customers, handling servicing, repairs and MOT bookings while liaising with the workshop to ensure a smooth customer journey.

Requirements include a full UK driving license and the right to work in the UK. The role offers a competitive salary, attractive benefits and ongoing manufacturer training within a busy af­ter­sales department.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or similar within the motor trade is essential.
• Must have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for customers booking vehicles in for servicing, repairs, MOTs and general aftersales support.
• Listen to customer requirements, accurately record vehicle concerns and pass clear information to the workshop team.
• Prepare job cards, provide progress updates and explain completed work, costs and recommended repairs in a clear and professional way.
• Coordinate service appointments, parts availability and workshop capacity to help ensure an efficient customer journey.
• Support customer satisfaction by resolving queries, handling concerns promptly and maintaining high standards of communication.

Service Advisor role for one of the UK’s leading automotive retail groups, working within a busy aftersales department and acting as a key point of contact between customers and the workshop. Great salary, benefits, bonus opportunities and ongoing training available.

Job type: Permanent / full-time role

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm OR 7.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday mornings on a rota
