Service Advisor needed in the Ashford area of Kent

We are working with a Motor Garage that is actively looking for a Service Advisor to join their friendly team in the Ashford area of Kent.

Job Role – Motor Vehicle Service Advisor

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Service Advisor Duties include:

1. Ensuring customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles in a professional manner
2. Advising on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
3. Selling additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs
4. Advising on timescales and collection arrangements
5. Producing job cards on in-house computer system
6. Updating customer and vehicle records
7. Documenting all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
8. Preparation and completion of invoices

Requirements for this Service Advisor position:

• Some experience working as a Service Advisor within a motor garage – can be in passenger cars, commercial vehicles, HGV, or LCV environment
• Full driving licence

As a Service Advisor, you will ensure the highest standard of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and members of the public.
