Job description

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer.

You will be required to provide on-site engineering support.

Responsibilities:

1. Attend breakdowns on-site, fault diagnosis, and rectification.
2. Carry out routine servicing for all equipment at customer sites.
3. Implement planned maintenance for all equipment at customer sites.
4. Diagnose, repair, and build generators/engines.
5. Carry out planned maintenance for all equipment in the depot.
6. Ensure optimum parts stock level is achieved, always maintain and review.
7. Allocate used parts to the works mobile tablet.
8. Correctly record and process all jobs on the works mobile tablet in a timely manner.
9. Record any potential customer recharges to the Service Controller.
10. Provide backup support in other areas and depots.
11. Keep the company vehicle clean, tidy, and maintained at all times.
12. Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
13. Perform any other duties as requested by your Manager.

Requirements:

1. Experience in a similar role and/or relevant mechanical/electrical knowledge.
2. Driving license.
3. Good communication and literacy skills.
4. Attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
6. Flexibility regarding travel, tasks, and working hours.
