Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Service Administrator (Plant Machinery) in Bury St Edmunds to join a growing engineering business where you’ll support engineers, customers and the aftersales operation. Are you an experienced Service Administrator, Parts Administrator or Service Coordinator looking to join a growing engineering business where you'll play a key role supporting engineers, customers and the aftersales operation?

Do you want to join a well-established machinery company offering long-term stability, ongoing training and the opportunity to develop your career within a busy and supportive service department?

This expanding machinery solutions business specialises in supplying, servicing and supporting construction equipment across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Service & Parts Administrator to support their Aftersales team, ensuring engineers, customers and internal departments receive first-class service and administrative support.

In this varied role, you'll be the first point of contact for service enquiries, processing service jobs, ordering parts, supporting engineers with labour and timesheet administration, coordinating transport, monitoring work in progress and assisting with warranty claims. You'll work closely with Service Controllers, Engineers, Parts, Sales and Finance to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the depot.

This role would suit someone with service administration or parts experience within construction plant, machinery, agricultural, automotive, commercial vehicles or another engineering environment, looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing business.
