Intellectual Capital Resources Ltd in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer focused on Zephyr to join our growing space-tech team.

You will own embedded software from concept through to production, including hardware bring‑up and low‑level debugging, with an emphasis on reliability.

Strong C/C++ skills and Zephyr RTOS experience across the full development lifecycle are essential for delivering robust communications products. Experience with Yocto and embedded Linux is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial Zephyr RTOS experience across full product lifecycle.
• Strong C/C++ programming and embedded software development.
• Experience taking embedded products from concept to production with Zephyr.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software using Zephyr RTOS.
• Take products from concept through to release using Zephyr.
• Hardware bring‑up and low‑level debugging.
• Work with protocols including SPI, CAN, I²C, and UART.
• Support embedded networking and communications features.
• Investigate and resolve hardware/software integration challenges.
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, RF and systems engineers.
