Job summary

SeeByte Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Senior Workplace Engineer to own the workplace technology environment. You will lead endpoint management, MS 365 administration, identity controls and end-user support, ensuring secure, reliable and scalable services while enabling productive work.

We maintain a flexible policy for hybrid work with around 60% in the office. Some travel within and outside the UK may be required as SeeByte grows globally.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in supporting workplace technology, end-user computing or IT service delivery environments.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365, Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience managing endpoint devices through modern device management tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of identity and access management principles.
• Experience supporting hardware and software across diverse user environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes.
• Experience managing incidents, problems and service requests within an IT service management framework.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience producing technical documentation and end-user guidance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve SeeByte's endpoint estate, ensuring devices remain secure, compliant and up to date.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, user accounts, identity management and access controls.
• Support and troubleshoot workplace technologies, including Windows and Linux desktop environments, VPNs, networking devices and enterprise applications.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve technical incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventative solutions.
• Manage joiner, mover and leaver processes, ensuring timely access provisioning and equipment management.
• Ensure IT services and support meet SLAs, proactively addressing issues and improvements.
• Coordinate operational changes and releases, assessing impacts and risks.
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and user guidance.
• Work with Infrastructure, Security and business teams to meet organisational needs.
• Contribute to improvements in employee experience and cyber security practices.
