Job summary

Select Tech is seeking a Senior Workday Analyst specialising in Absence and Time Tracking in a hybrid role based near Greater Manchester. You will own configuration, enhancements, releases and continuous improvement across both modules, partnering with HR, Technology and external Workday partners to deliver solutions.

The role requires hands-on Workday configuration experience in Absence and Time Tracking, strong stakeholder engagement and ability to translate requirements into effective Workday

Qualifications

• Hands-on Workday Absence and Time Tracking configuration in live environments.
• Experience gathering requirements and designing effective Workday solutions.
• Experience with Workday release management and testing.
• Experience within large/global organisations and with third-party Workday partners.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Workday Absence and Time Tracking SME.
• Own and deliver configuration changes across both modules.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into effective Workday solutions.
• Manage module enhancements from design through testing and deployment.
• Support Workday release cycles, including impact assessment and testing.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and feature adoption.
• Contribute to the Workday roadmap and module strategy.
• Maintain configuration standards, system integrity and governance.
• Collaborate with HR, Technology and broader stakeholders.
• Work with external Workday partners as required.
• Support change management, training and user adoption.
• Maintain audit-ready system documentation.
• Act as escalation point for complex functional issues.
• Provide guidance to junior analysts and administrators.
