Job summary

Puttenham Hill Care Home in Guildford is seeking an enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to lead morning and afternoon activity sessions, create engaging planners, and organise joyful events for residents. You’ll collaborate with care teams to tailor activities, manage a budget, and add a personal touch to daily life.

As a creative, people-focused individual, you’ll bring ideas, organise birthdays, and connect with local performers.

Qualifications

• You’re a creative thinker with plenty of ideas, who can also manage budgets and maintain paperwork, effectively managing priorities as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Run morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Produce and update an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget.
• Organise birthday surprises for residents.
• Liaise with external companies and performers to organise days out/events at the home.
• Organise one-to-ones with residents, which may involve reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading or a cup of tea and a chat.
• Support the home with their social media channels as required.
