Job summary

Bupa is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Puttenham Hill House in Guildford. You will run morning and afternoon sessions, create an engaging activity planner, and manage a set activities budget to support residents' wellbeing.

You will liaise with local performers, organise birthdays and reminiscence activities, arrange one-to-one chats, and assist with social media as needed. The role is part-time with hourly pay £13.30–£14.30 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Able to manage budgets and maintain paperwork.
• Creative thinker with plenty of ideas and energy.
• Experience in care home environment is a plus.
• Ability to organise activities and events for residents.

Responsibilities

• Running morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Producing and updating an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget
• Organising birthday surprises for residents
• Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home
• Organising one to ones with residents, including reminiscence tools, puzzles, reading or a chat
• Supporting the home with its social media channels as required
