Job summary

Bupa Puttenham Hill Care Home is seeking a part-time Activity Coordinator to plan and run engaging activities for residents, including arts, crafts, baking, and social events. You will manage activity planners, coordinate with local partners, and support wellbeing initiatives within the home.

The role emphasizes creating a joyful, therapeutic atmosphere, with opportunities to involve families and the wider community in events and celebrations.

Qualifications

• You're a creative thinker with plenty of ideas, who can also manage budgets and maintain paperwork, effectively managing priorities as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Running morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Producing and updating an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget
• Organising birthday surprises for our residents
• Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home
• Organising one to ones with our residents, this might involve reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading or just a cup of tea and a chat
• Supporting the home with their social media channels as required
