Job summary

St Georges Care Home Bupa in Cobham is seeking a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator to create a vibrant activities programme for residents. You will run morning and afternoon sessions, manage an activities planner, and coordinate events within a set budget.

You’ll work closely with care teams to deliver person-centred activities, from arts and crafts to gentle exercise, aimed at boosting wellbeing and social engagement across the home.

Qualifications

• You’re a creative thinker with plenty of ideas, who can also manage budgets and maintain paperwork, effectively managing priorities as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Running morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Producing and updating an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget
• Organising birthday surprises for our residents
• Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home
• Organising one to ones with our residents, this might involve reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading or just a cup of tea and a chat
• Supporting the home with their social media channels as required
