The Senior Web Operations Manager at AQA is recognized as the web 'product' owner, playing a crucial role in driving improvements and managing stakeholder relationships across Marketing Leadership Team (MLT), Customer and Product (C&P), and AQA. This role oversees all web operations, aligns projects with AQA's business goals, and ensures efficient workflow management. The Senior Web Operations Manager shapes the strategic direction of AQA's web presence, ensuring it aligns with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Reporting and Team Structure

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Brand, this senior role sits on the MLT and leads the Web Operations Team. It involves strategic oversight of web operations and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The manager leads a team dedicated to managing web projects aligned with AQA's broader goals. The Web Operations Team collaborates with the Marketing Propositions & Delivery team, Marketing Operations Team, and the Customer Training & Events Team.

Activities

• Web Product Ownership and Improvement: Accountable as the product owner for AQA's website and associated operations. Drive continuous improvements in web services and platforms.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage and nurture relationships within MLT, C&P, and with external vendors. Strategically align web operations with stakeholder needs and expectations.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee all aspects of web operations, ensuring smooth running and optimization, aligned with business goals. Implement efficient workflow management practices.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the web operations team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required

• Significant experience in web operations management and digital strategy, including SEO.
