Job summary

Veolia UK is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to provide technical leadership on water, wastewater, and bioresources projects, from concept to detailed design. You will guide engineers, manage multiple complex bids, and collaborate with business development to win projects.

You will drive sustainable process designs, speak with clients, and lead workshops while travelling across the UK as required.

Qualifications

Degree in a relevant technical subject (e.g., Chemical Engineering or similar).
Experience in the process design of water and wastewater treatment plants across FEED and detailed engineering stages.
Proven experience in developing technical solutions for commercial bids and understanding commercial implications.
Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to process engineers, graduate engineers, and designers; lead process design discipline in multi-disciplinary teams.
Plan workload autonomously across project lifecycles from bidding to execution, managing multiple complex projects with deadlines.
Communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and present at client meetings.
Establish technical relationships with customers during bidding phases and coordinate with internal/external teams.
Deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and lead technical workshops and negotiations.
Embed sustainability into process designs, optimizing energy and resource recovery.
