Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our UK Water team, delivering process design across clean water and wastewater projects. You’ll work with civil, mechanical, and electrical specialists to develop integrated solutions and support projects from feasibility through construction.

The role offers hybrid working across multiple UK locations, opportunities to mentor engineers, and a chance to help build resilient, sustainable infrastructure for communities and the environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering required.
• Experience in process engineering within water/wastewater sectors.
• Experience with process calculations, mass balances and hydraulic assessments.
• Proven ability to own technical tasks within multidisciplinary projects.
• Good understanding of UK water industry standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering solutions for water and wastewater projects.
• Prepare and review process calculations, mass balances and hydraulic assessments.
• Own technical work packages and ensure on-time delivery.
• Support design from feasibility to construction and commissioning.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
