Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our UK Water business. Based in a chosen UK city, you will lead process engineering delivery across clean water and wastewater projects, engaging with clients and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical solutions from concept through to construction.

You will develop process calculations, mass balances and hydraulic assessments, own technical work packages, and contribute to bids and innovation while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Experience in process engineering within water, wastewater or related sectors.
• Experience developing process calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and technical deliverables.
• Experience taking ownership of technical tasks within multidisciplinary projects.
• Good understanding of UK water industry challenges, standards and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering solutions across clean water and wastewater projects.
• Undertake and review process calculations, mass balances and hydraulic assessments.
• Own technical work packages and ensure timely delivery.
• Support process design from feasibility to detailed design and construction support.
• Contribute to treatment optimisation, asset improvement and resilience programmes.
• Support site investigations, performance assessments and testing.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental specialists.
• Engage with clients to understand requirements and provide practical engineering advice.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to technical development.
• Contribute to bids, frameworks and continuous improvement.
