Stantec is hiring a Senior Process Engineer for its UK Water business. You will develop process solutions for clean water and wastewater projects, lead process calculations, and own technical work packages across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or related discipline.
• - Experience in process engineering within water/wastewater sectors.
• - Practical experience across water/wastewater treatment processes, process design and/or operational optimisation.
• - Experience developing process calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and technical deliverables.
• - Experience taking ownership of technical tasks within multidisciplinary projects.
• - Good understanding of UK water industry challenges, standards and best practice.
• - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering solutions across clean water and wastewater projects.
• - Undertake and review process calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and technical deliverables.
• - Take ownership of technical work packages, ensuring quality and delivery to timescales.
• - Support process design development from feasibility to detailed design and construction support.
• - Contribute to treatment optimisation, asset improvement and resilience programmes.
• - Support site investigations, performance assessments and testing.
• - Work with civil, mechanical, electrical, environmental and hydraulic specialists on integrated solutions.
• - Engage with clients to understand requirements and provide practical engineering advice.
• - Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to technical development.
• - Contribute to bids, frameworks and continuous improvement across the team.
