Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Process Engineer to join our growing UK water teams across multiple locations including London, High Wycombe, Reading, Brighton, Southampton or Cambridge. You will lead process engineering delivery for water and wastewater projects, mentoring teams and collaborating with civil, mechanical and electrical engineers to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in process engineering within water, wastewater or utilities.
• Experience with process design, calculations, mass balances and hydraulic assessments.

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering solutions across water and wastewater projects.
• Undertake process calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and treatment process evaluations.
• Develop and review technical reports, specifications, calculations and other deliverables.
• Take ownership of technical work packages, ensuring inputs, quality and timely delivery.
• Support process design from concept through to detailed design and construction support.
• Contribute to site investigations, asset assessments, optimisation studies and workshops.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and environmental engineers for integrated solutions.
• Engage with clients to understand requirements and translate challenges into practical engineering solutions.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to team development.
• Support innovation and continuous improvement across Process Engineering.
