Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support Coleshill area. You will maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes and specialist systems, ensuring reliability and environmental compliance, across site operations.

You’ll work outdoors on varied plant machinery and contribute to pollution prevention and water quality. A driving licence is essential, and you’ll be based on the Coleshill patch with a provided vehicle and tools.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Mechanical or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Driving licence is essential.
• 37 hours per week with standby rota.
• You’ll enjoy working outdoors and adapt to different environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pumps, motors, and gearboxes, ensuring reliability and efficiency of plant equipment.
• Carry out daily upkeep, maintenance and repairs on critical wastewater assets.
• Maintain infrastructure like scraper bridges within treatment tanks to keep processes running safely.
