Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a Principal or Associate Engineer (Wastewater Network Modelling) to support team leaders in delivering projects, supervising tasks and reviewing outputs. You will develop urban drainage modelling capability and mentor junior staff while applying your expertise to drive technical quality and service efficiency.

You will also manage client relationships, contribute to business development, and help shape approaches to efficient delivery within a growing UK water team.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree and chartered, or progressing toward qualification with ICE, IEI, IoW or CIWEM
• Experience of wastewater hydraulic modelling (InfoWorks ICM) and ability to check outputs
• Knowledge of Water Industry Specifications and Hydraulic Modelling standards
• Good presentation, written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop the urban drainage modelling capability in the team and mentor junior members
• Support the team lead in managing the local technical delivery team
• Provide technical input on urban drainage projects for the wastewater team
• Exercise independent engineering judgement and propose innovative solutions
• Develop and maintain client relationships, coordinating project meetings
• Participate in business development and proposal preparation
• Promote the WSP brand at industry forums and conferences
• Contribute to knowledge sharing within the wider team
