Job summary
WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Principal or Associate Engineer to support project delivery in urban drainage and wastewater modelling, ensuring technical quality and innovative approaches. You will supervise tasks and review outputs, guiding junior staff and coordinating with clients.
You will develop and apply urban drainage modelling capabilities, contribute to wastewater projects and help shape future delivery methods within our dynamic water team, supported by a global network.
Qualifications
- Experience with wastewater hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks ICM.
- Ability to review others' technical outputs before issue.
- Knowledge of Water Industry Specifications and hydraulic modelling standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise tasks and review deliverables on projects.
- Develop the urban drainage modelling capability within the team.
- Support the team lead in managing local technical delivery work.
- Provide technical input on urban drainage projects and support wastewater team delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and coordinate project meetings.
- Contribute to business development and proposal preparation.
- Promote the WSP brand at industry forums and conferences.
- Share knowledge to grow the wider team.
