Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Principal/Associate Engineer to support project delivery in the water sector, leading tasks and reviewing outputs. You will develop urban drainage modelling capabilities and mentor junior staff, while supporting the local technical delivery team and engaging with clients to shape project direction.

Qualifications

Degree and chartered, or progress toward ICE/IEI/IoW/CIWEM
Experience in wastewater hydraulic modelling
Knowledge of Water Industry Specifications and relevant British Standards
Strong English presentation and written communication

Responsibilities

Support team leads in managing project delivery and review deliverables
Develop urban drainage modelling capability and provide training to junior members
Support local technical delivery team management
Provide technical input on urban drainage projects and wastewater projects
Offer independent engineering judgement and innovative solutions
Develop and maintain client relationships and coordinate project meetings
