Job summary

Purely Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Swindon to lead the warehouse team and ensure smooth daily operations. The role involves overseeing receiving, storage and dispatch, maintaining stock accuracy and enforcing safe working practices in a busy environment.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in warehouse supervision, strong leadership and clear English communication, plus knowledge of WMS and health & safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a warehouse supervisor/lead role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse ops and inventory management.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Clear written and verbal English; good numeracy.
• Proficient IT skills with WMS and MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations; plan, prioritise and resource workloads.
• Allocate people, equipment and workload to meet requirements and OTIF targets.
• Act as first escalation point for operational issues; escalate to Warehouse Manager when needed.
• Ensure accurate receiving, put-away, picking, packing and despatch.
• Support short-term planning, cover arrangements and decision-making.
• Monitor KPI performance across inbound/outbound operations.
