Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in Dunstable. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day warehouse operation, managing a team and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The role involves supervising and developing staff, coordinating daily activities, maintaining GMP, and liaising with Production, Quality and Planning.

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the warehouse team, including training and development.
• Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities to meet production and loading schedules.
• Ensure all Health & Safety, food safety and quality procedures are followed.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and GMP within the warehouse.
• Monitor team performance and ensure agreed KPIs are achieved.
• Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Manage stock, resources and costs effectively, minimising waste.
• Ensure all required checks, records and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
• Work closely with other departments including Production, Quality, Engineering, HR and Planning.
• Help ensure the warehouse is prepared for customer and external audits.
• Provide cover for other management/supervisory roles when required.

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in Dunstable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operation, managing a team and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Pay Rate: £17.02 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
Training Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:30am-2:00pm (approx 1 month)
Contract: Temp to Perm

This role involves:

Essential:

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role.

Desirable:

• Experience working with BRC or customer audit requirements.
• Experience using SAP.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques.
• Experience with stock control systems.
