Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Stock Controller/Administrator to join our busy team in the logistics sector. The role requires at least 1 year of experience in a responsible warehouse administrator/logistics position and offers a Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30 shift with overtime available.

You will handle general administration, liaise with customers, warehouse staff and management, and assist with transport planning.

Qualifications

Previous Warehouse/logistics administration experience with strong attention to detail.
Flexible and hard working with a can-do attitude and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, with good spoken and written English.
Candidates must have own transport as there is no public transport to depot location.
Good customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Complete all associated administration duties to the highest standards of accuracy.
Communicate regularly with depot managers, colleagues, drivers and clients to ensure that all products are delivered within required delivery windows and agreed timescales.
Work with the warehouse team to ensure smooth and efficient transportation of kit to the intended destination within strict timelines.
Complete all duties in accordance with health and safety legislation and working time directive.
Brief and de-brief staff and management regarding delivery performance, paperwork and compliance.
