Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting an experienced Inventory Controller / Stock Controller to join a busy warehouse operation in Liverpool City Centre. This is a Monday to Friday daytime role with a pay rate of £13.75 per hour.

You will manage goods-in processes, maintain inventory records, conduct stock counts, and support stock take activities, with overtime available at £20.63 per hour after 37.5 hours. Weekly pay and opportunities for long-term progression are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse and inventory control.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Proficient with WMS and computer systems.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage goods-in processes and ensure stock is received accurately.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Conduct regular stock counts and support stock take activities.
• Process and maintain inventory documentation, including temperature logs.
• Report stock shortages, damages and excess stock promptly.
• Follow customer-specific procedures and warehouse operating processes.
• Work closely with warehouse and operational teams to support customer requirements.
• Update stock movements and inventory records using warehouse systems.
• Ensure all duties are completed in line with Health & Safety procedures.
• Identify operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Confident using Microsoft Teams and other computer-based systems.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
