Job summary

Soho House in Greater London is seeking a Head Waiter to oversee floor service, guide staff, and uphold the club’s high standards. You will greet guests, take orders, recommend menu items, and ensure seamless payment processes while maintaining discretion with VIPs.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in high-end dining in a supervisory role, with strong F&B knowledge, leadership, and superb communication. This on-site role offers a dynamic club environment and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high‑end dining environment with supervisory experience.
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge, including wine service.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a hands‑on approach.
• Confident, polished and professional demeanour.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members, introduce menus, and engage guests from seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders with dietary considerations.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timely, correct orders.
• Provide knowledgeable menu recommendations and wine pairings.
• Maintain a pristine service environment and proactive service throughout the stay.
• Support and train waitstaff with coaching and feedback.
