Job summary

MS Society UK is seeking a Volunteering Development Senior Officer (Learning and Development) to lead accessible learning for over 3,000 volunteers and volunteer managers. You will design, deliver and evaluate training, managing volunteer learning systems and processes to ensure easy access, up-to-date content and timely support.

Qualifications

• Experience designing learning solutions including e-learning and blended formats.
• Experience using learning management systems to support learning and development.
• Experience working with volunteers and understanding volunteer management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and evaluate learning solutions, resources and training for volunteers and volunteer managers.
• Review and continuously improve the volunteer learning and development programme for accessibility and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with volunteers and managers to co-produce content and improve resources.
• Develop training packages and learning pathways for new volunteer roles.
• Deliver engaging volunteer training, inductions and development opportunities across formats.
• Provide advice and support on volunteer learning and development to staff and volunteers.
• Collect, analyse and use data and feedback to inform improvements and measure impact.
• Work with local teams to support delivery of learning activities across the organisation.
• Support implementation of volunteering priorities and changes in practice.
• Manage and maintain volunteer learning tools, systems and resources.
