Job summary

MSSC (Marine Society & Sea Cadets) is seeking a Learning Team Coordinator to promote training activities and support senior volunteers at our Lambeth-based National Support Centre. The role focuses on coordinating learning communications, managing national volunteers, and creating engaging learning materials.

The successful candidate will have strong customer service, planning ability, and a passion for Sea Cadets values.

Qualifications

• Good customer service skills and who likes helping people.
• Prior knowledge of Sea Cadets or similar organisation, either as a cadet or volunteer.
• Organised and able to plan.
• Demonstrates MSSC values of Respect, Loyalty, Self-Discipline, Commitment, Honesty & Integrity and Courage.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a people-focused Learning Team Coordinator to take ownership of promoting some of our training activities and supporting senior volunteers.
• Manage inboxes and help manage our team of national volunteers.
• Create new activities and learning resources.
• Write and post social media posts advertising courses.
• Send out certificates to cadets.
• Keep sections of a website up to date.
