Job summary

BAM Ground Engineering is seeking a Senior Utility Surveyor to advance our utility surveying capability. The role combines hands-on technical delivery with developing a growing service area and PAS 128 surveys.

You will lead projects, use modern surveying tools like total stations, GPS and GPR, and post-process data to PAS 128 compliant outputs, while mentoring others and supporting business growth. Travel to sites nationwide is required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering PAS 128 utility surveys
• Ability to lead utility survey projects from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of PAS 128 and utility surveying
• Excellent communication and client liaison skills
• Mentor junior surveyors and build a wider team

Responsibilities

• Lead utility survey projects from start to finish with high quality
• Provide technical support for on-time, on-budget delivery
• Use total stations, GPS and GPR for data collection
• Record underground utility assets and manhole inspection reports
• Deliver survey outputs to Project Managers and CAD operators
• Develop client relationships and advise on project quoting
