Job summary

Made Tech is seeking a Senior User Researcher to join our design-led public sector team. You will collaborate with UCD colleagues and data/tech teams to understand challenges users face when using public services.

You will conduct qualitative and quantitative research, translate findings into actionable insights, and help shape end-to-end service design across client work. Experience with lean and agile methods is valued.

Qualifications

• Experienced in user centred, lean and agile research methodologies.
• Skilled in usability testing, contextual enquiry and rapid research.
• Able to produce actionable insights and communicate them to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the research subject matter expert on a multidisciplinary team.
• Scope research focus and define success metrics.
• Choose qualitative and quantitative methods for projects.
• Work as a solo researcher within client deliveries.
• Advocate for user research within project delivery and with stakeholders.
• Plan research to inform public service design.
• Analyse data and synthesize findings for decision making.
• Present findings in show-and-tell sessions and key meetings.
