AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals. How you will create an impact

• Drive profitable growth in D&O by working on creative solutions for complex risks. You will be responsible for underwriting a range of new and renewal business, using your proven relationship building skills.
• Work closely with brokers to communicate risk appetite and our value proposition – understanding deal structures, terms, and products that meet clients’ needs. Negotiate pricing, terms & conditions, and deal structure with brokers and clients.
• Generate new business by expanding your broker network, attending broker events, and building relationships across the market. Collaborate with AIG Distribution, territory managers, and underwriters in other lines for targeted accounts and cross-selling.
• Set a high standard of customer service for brokers and clients, providing guidance, mentoring, and training to less-experienced underwriters, and supporting their broker network development.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Proven underwriting experience with good knowledge of D&O
• Ability to analyze financial statements
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable behaviors
• Interest in mentoring and training, if not previously held
