I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's MGA seeking a Senior Underwriter to join their growing FI team.

The ideal candidate is an experienced FI/D&O Underwriting professional with a focus on SME - Mid Market region, writing business globally. The role involves developing new business and managing renewals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite and negotiate D&O and FI accounts, ensuring risk quality and adherence to company strategy and authority.
• Drive new business and maintain broker relationships to meet GWP targets.
• Own the development and profitability of your underwriting portfolio.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, insurers, and clients.
• Participate in client meetings and visits.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, agreements, and industry standards.
• Stay informed about market conditions in SME and mid-market segments.
• Support strategic planning and seek growth opportunities, including new markets and pipelines.
• Mentor junior underwriters and improve underwriting processes.
• Ensure all activities comply with FCA regulations and internal risk practices.
