Purpose of the Role

You will play an integral part in our Portfolio Underwriting team, supporting with pricing and class level analysis, providing an analytical review of the classes with a focus on the FI & D&O class. You will produce statistics, reports, and MI, working directly with brokers on new and renewal business, and assisting Underwriters in risk evaluation in line with Ki’s Business Plan.

Daily responsibilities include reviewing renewal submissions according to the portfolio’s underwriting strategy, preparing necessary information for underwriters, delivering technical pricing for insurance policies and reinsurance treaties, and collaborating with underwriting and actuarial colleagues. You will leverage both traditional actuarial methods and machine learning approaches to support Ki’s models, including risk level pricing involving data input and ownership of model outputs.

You will also maintain relationships with key brokers and work cross-functionally with underwriting and actuarial teams. We welcome candidates with a successful track record in supporting underwriting teams with technical pricing data. Knowledge of actuarial concepts and specialty classes is desirable but not essential.
