WSP is seeking a Senior or Principal Transport Planner to join our Transport Planning & Mobility team in Manchester. You will work within a multidisciplinary group of planners, engineers and modellers across UK offices, delivering transport and spatial planning projects for major commissions such as National Highways, with a hybrid office/remote setup.

You will contribute to modelling projects, lead small tasks, engage with clients and stakeholders, and help develop technical capability within

Qualificações

• Experience in transport, development or spatial planning.
• Understanding of the UK planning system, including policy and transport assessment requirements.
• Ability to lead small projects and manage priorities and budgets.
• Experience with multi-tier modelling including local junction, microsimulation and strategic modelling.
• Experience developing concept options and familiarity with UK highway design standards.
• Experience engaging with clients and stakeholders, presenting complex information clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to delivery of transport and spatial planning projects with technical excellence and policy alignment.
• Lead technical tasks and engage with wider disciplines, clients and stakeholders.
• Deliver transport modelling projects, tasks and studies.
• Provide leadership to junior staff and support capability building within the Transport & Mobility Planning team.
• Manage project budgets and programmes to meet commercial constraints.
• Contribute to WSP’s pillars: People, Clients & Growth, Operations and Expertise.
