Arup is recruiting Senior Town Planners/Town Planners for multiple UK offices (Birmingham, Nottingham, Bristol, Cardiff). You will deliver complex planning projects, prepare policy documents, and manage teams.

The role requires RTPI chartered membership or equivalent and a background in consultancy or public sector planning. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to shape national and regional guidance, supporting planning applications and evidence base studies while developing client

Qualifications

• Degree and/or masters in town planning or similar degree and RTPI chartered membership or equivalent.
• Background in a professional planning role such as consultancy or public sector.
• Experience drafting planning reports, strategies, or planning policy documents.
• Project management experience preferable, including programme and commercial aspects.
• Ability to lead client meetings and develop a town planning business.

Responsabilités

• Support preparation of planning applications under TCPA or other regimes such as Development Consent Orders.
• Prepare planning policy documents, spatial strategies and evidence base studies.
• Lead technical inputs, coordinate stakeholders, and manage project teams or elements.
• Deliver complex and national/regional/local planning outcomes across the UK.
