Job summary

Arup is seeking Principal and Senior Town Planners to join the London office, bringing experience in policy planning to drive a diverse portfolio of work. You will provide technical guidance, manage projects, and influence multi-disciplinary teams while developing client relationships and expanding Arup’s planning business.

You will lead policy and evidence-base work, preparing policy documents, reports and client recommendations for public and private sector clients across the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree or masters in town planning (or geography) and Chartered RTPI or equivalent.
• Project management skills with programme and commercial awareness.
• Strong knowledge of planning legislation and planning policy, with evidence-base experience.
• Comfortable leading client meetings and developing a town planning business.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning policy, evidence base, research and strategy commissions.
• Prepare clear, robust policy documents, reports and client recommendations.
