Job summary

Arup, based in Newcastle, seeks Principal/Senior Town Planner to lead policy, evidence base, and strategy commissions across a diverse UK portfolio. You will prepare policy documents, reports and client recommendations while advising public and private clients on policy and delivery, taking ownership of project outcomes and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree or masters in town planning or equivalent (e.g. geography).
• Project management skills including programme and commercial aspects.
• Good knowledge of planning legislation and policy; experience in policy documents and evidence base studies.
• Comfortable leading client meetings and contributing to business development in town planning.
