Job summary

Arup's Town Planning team in Northern England seeks a Principal or Senior Town Planner to lead planning policy, evidence base, and strategy commissions. You will guide projects, manage client relationships and contribute to multidisciplinary work across the UK.

You will prepare policy documents and advise clients on policy and delivery, while developing leadership and technical excellence in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree and/or masters in town planning.
• Chartered membership of RTPI or equivalent.
• Experience in planning policy and evidence base studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning policy, evidence base, research and strategy commissions.
• Prepare clear, robust policy documents and client recommendations.
• Advise public and private clients on policy and delivery, maintaining relationships.
