Arup is seeking an Associate Town Planner to join our Development Management focused team, supporting Bristol, Birmingham or Nottingham offices. You will drive complex planning projects, lead client relationships and help grow Arup's planning business nationwide.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, ensure quality and financial viability, and mentor junior colleagues as part of the Planning Leadership. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Competenze

• Degree in town planning or equivalent and MRTPI.
• Experience leading planning applications for commercial, mixed-use and infrastructure schemes.
• Proven consultancy or public sector leadership experience.
• Experience leading bids, client liaison and project management.
• Ability to develop client relationships and identify opportunities.

Mansioni

• Lead the delivery of planning projects and act as the key client interface.
• Provide strategic direction to the team and ensure QA across deliverables.
• Oversee financial/budget management and risk control.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to maximise project opportunities.
• Support national planning leadership and skill development in the office.
