Job summary

Arup seeks a Principal/Senior Town Planner to join our Northern England offices, delivering diverse planning policy work and leading client relationships. You will guide complex projects, provide technical leadership and contribute to the growth of our town planning team.

This role combines policy, evidence base development and stakeholder engagement with opportunities for leadership and career progression.

Qualifications

• Degree in town planning or geography (or equivalent).
• Chartered membership of RTPI or equivalent professional body.
• Experience delivering planning policy, evidence base, research and strategy commissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning policy, evidence base, research and strategy commissions.
• Prepare clear, robust policy documents, reports and client recommendations.
• Advise public and private clients on policy and delivery.
