Raytheon UK is hiring a Senior Test Development Engineer to join our Glenrothes (Scotland) and Livingston (Scotland) teams. The role focuses on designing, manufacturing, validating and supporting test equipment for board, sub-system and system levels, spanning control actuation, guidance electronics and GPS anti-jamming systems across land, sea, air and space.
The position offers a competitive package, career development opportunities, and a Welcome Bonus of £7.5k, with relocation support.
Competenze
- Experience designing test development hardware for electronic systems.
- Ability to write comprehensive technical design documentation.
- Experience in handover and production design management.
Mansioni
- Design and develop functional test equipment for electronic systems.
- Lead and support hardware/software integration and troubleshooting.
- Provide lifecycle and production support, including issue resolution and obsolescence management.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop robust, scalable test solutions.
- Lead design reviews and documentation to the highest standards.
- Act as a mentor and technical leader for junior engineers.
