Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Senior Test Development Engineer in Glenrothes and Livingston, Scotland, onsite. You will design, verify, and support test equipment for electronic systems across hardware and software interfaces, enabling robust, scalable solutions and leading design reviews.

You will mentor junior engineers, write technical documentation, and ensure lifecycle support and obsolescence management, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on control actuation and guidance

Qualifications

• Design of product Test Development Hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop functional test equipment for electronic systems.
• Lead and support hardware/software integration and troubleshooting.
• Provide lifecycle and production support, including issue resolution and obsolescence management.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop robust, scalable test solutions.
• Lead design reviews and documentation to the highest standards.
• Act as a mentor and technical leader for junior engineers.
