Job summary

Raytheon UK in Glenrothes, Scotland, is seeking a Test Engineering Lead to design, verify and validate board and system level test equipment. You will lead a small team, produce technical documentation, and guide junior engineers through development and production handover.

You will collaborate with hardware and software teams, develop test software and procedures, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while supporting obsolescence management and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree required in Electronic Engineering or related field with 2:1 or higher.
• Experience in test software design and hardware integration.
• Proven ability to handover designs to production and document designs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and verification of test equipment and software.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and ensure design quality.
• Document specifications and participate in design reviews.
• Support test development, hardware/software integration, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to finalise interfaces.
